For gifts of stock to Christ the King School, please follow the procedures described below.

If the stock is in a brokerage or trust account:
1. Instruct your stockbroker by telephone and then follow up with a letter to have the gifted stock transferred to Christ the King School's account with the brokerage firm listed below.

When directing your stockbroker to make a gift to the school, you must include Bear Stearns' DTC number, as well as the CKS Bear Stearns Account number and Tax ID number.

2. Please contact Camille Naughton, Director of Development for Christ the King School, at 404-233-0383 ext 403 or e-mail at ccnaughton@christking.org to advise her of your stock gift. We would then appreciate a follow-up letter stating the name of the stock and number of shares, your name, address and phone number, the purpose of the gift, and the date of the gift. Please mail the letter to:

You will receive an acknowledgement letter for the gift within 30 days, detailing the number of shares, the stock issuer, and the date of the gift.

If the gift is in the form of a stock certificate registered in your name:
1. For Transfer of Actual Certificates by Mail:

• Mail the actual certificates by registered mail, requesting a signature as proof of delivery.
• In a separate envelope, also by registered mail, mail a signed and medallion guaranteed stock power of authority, to transfer ownership of the stock to Christ the King School. Include a signed and medallion guaranteed gift letter stating the number of shares, name of stock, date and recipient of stock.
• You will receive an acknowledgement letter within 30 days, detailing the receipt of number of shares, the stock issuer, and the date of the gift.

2. For Hand Delivery of Certificates:

• If you decide to bring the certificates to Christ the King School, please schedule an appointment with the Development Director and have the following complete before hand: a signed and medallion guaranteed gift letter stating number of shares, name of stock, date and recipient of stock; and a stock certificate, signed and medallion guaranteed.
• At your appointment, you will sign over your stocks and be issued a receipt for the delivery of the shares. The receipt includes: name of the owner listed on the shares, number of shares, name and class of stock.
• You will receive a receipt of the number of shares, the stock issuer, and the date of the gift.
