Welcome

support   CKS

With the opening of the new Hyland Center, we are experiencing the rebirth of a very special tradition-- the exceptional tradition of Christ the King School. Exceptional in so many ways: exceptional families, exceptional faculty and staff, exceptional students, and now, exceptional facilities. The generosity of our community is a tradition that unites school, family and faith today.

Thank you for your support. We encourage a gift to the CKS Annual Fund to support the daily resources needed to operate our school.  An investment in the future of Christ the King School can be made with a directed gift to our Endowment, Scholarship or Tuition Assistance Funds.

The Hyland Center Capital Campaign
In 2015, fundraising efforts began for the Capital Campaign to renovate three buildings and replace the Hyland Center. The campaign goal is $30 million dollars. To date, we have raised $28 million. The last campaign on the campus was in 1999. We are asking families to invest in a sacrificial gift over the next four years and pay it forward for generations to come. We believe God has put us in this time and place to Continue His Mission just like he did with our founding families and the Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart so long ago.

The new Hyland Center is defining chapter in Christ the King’s history. We are grateful to the sacrificial gifts from the community that made the new Hyland Center a reality. The completion of this project is the first step to redefine Christ the King School and present the opportunity to be a part of history.  For more information please visit: Hyland Center  cathedralctk.com/capital-campaign.

Directed Giving
Gifts of any size to our Tuition Assistance Fund, the Endowment Fund, or any of our Scholarship Funds are considered Directed Giving because they are applied to a specific fund. Contributions to the Tuition Assistance Fund will be directed to a family that financially qualifies for support. We are grateful for your gift, and encourage supporting the CKS Annual Fund prior to making a directed gift.

The CKS Endowment Fund is an investment in our future. While the Annual Fund supports school operations, the Endowment Fund will continue to grow and the school will benefit from the interest that the fund generates. Earnings are earmarked for teacher advanced degrees and enrichment, student scholarships and as a way to keep tuition increases to a minimum.

Matching gift
Your company may match gifts to Christ the King School. While each company has its specific stipulations and limits, some companies match every dollar you contribute with two corporate dollars. Your company's specific matching requirements are typically found on your company website or with your Human Resource department.

The list below contains companies that have generously donated to CKS this past year. If your company is not listed, please check with your Human Resources Department. Most companies that match education donations will match donations to Catholic schools. Once you receive your matching form from your employer, fill out your section of the form and send it to CKS with your check, or notify the school if you have registered your gift with your company online. We will then verify the receipt of your gift, so that we are eligible to receive the corporate match.

Matching Gifts
Many companies offer programs that match charitable donations made by their employees, directors, employees’ spouses, or retirees. If your employer has a matching gift program, the human resource department can provide the information of how to have a gift matched.
If you have any questions concerning a matching gift for Christ the King School, please contact Annamarie Robb arobb@christking.org or 404-267-3658, the Director of Advancement.
