​Work Experience
Mrs. Lowry loves to work with students of all ages and is passionate about educating the whole child.  She has worked in the field of education for over 20 years, the past seven of which have been at Christ the King.  Melissa has worn many hats at CKS including curriculum coordinator and teacher. Prior to joining CKS, she was the principal of a K-8 Catholic elementary school in California and has also taught early childhood and elementary school. Melissa is the co-author of Answer Keys: Teacher Lesson Plans for Successful Parenting (Bright Sky Press) and is a frequent presenter at conferences and workshops. Melissa lives walking distance from the Cathedral of Christ the King with her husband, Mac, two children (one at CKS and one at Marist), and two dogs, Ms. California and Mickey.​

Work Experience
Originally from Queens, NY, Mr. Saporito attended Catholic school from grades K to 12, first at Most Precious Blood School and later at Archbishop Molloy High School. He began his teaching career at St. Margaret Catholic School in Middle Village, NY, teaching sixth grade. After relocating to Atlanta, he accepted a fifth grade position at Christ the King School in 2006, where he has been up until now, serving one year as the interim Assistant Principal in 2012. In that time, Mr. Saporito has acted as National Junior Honor Society Moderator, and as the faculty chairperson for Catholic Schools Week, Veteran’s Day, and Black History Month. In 2011, he was selected as Christ the King’s Archbishop’s Education Award winner. He and his wife, Holly, have three kids who attend or have attended Christ the King. ​

Mrs. Wright loves to work with students and is passionate about creating a joyful environment for all learners. She has worked in the field of education for 8 years, the past two of which have been at Christ the King.  Whitney has always felt a calling to work in the field of education. Prior to curriculum coordinator, Whitney created and fostered the Academic Extension program at CKS. Prior to joining CKS, she has taught elementary school at both private and public schools in the Atlanta area. Whitney lives in Smyrna with her husband, Geoff. ​

​Work Experience
Emily Williams has been formed by Catholic Education since preschool. She attended a parish grade school and an Archdiocesan high school in her home diocese of St. Louis. Immediately after graduating college, she spent four years serving as a Catholic missionary serving several diocese in parish youth ministry. As a youth minister, she has developed and implemented dynamic and orthodox curricula suited to each unique community she served. With over seven years of full time experience coordinating liturgies, retreats, service events, and religious education classes for young people, she is excited to serve the CKS school community.

Work Experience
For 25 years, Mrs. Littlefield has worked in Catholic education.  She began her education career in the Arlington diocese (Virginia) as a 5th and 6th grade classroom teacher.  After receiving her masters in education in reading, Mrs. Littlefield was a reading specialist for students in kindergarten through 8th grade.   Her love of Catholic education inspired her to obtain a masters in education for Catholic leadership and administration at Marymount University.   Mrs. Littlefield was the principal at Queen of Apostles School in Alexandria, Virginia, for four years before relocating to Atlanta.  She was a resource teacher at Christ the King before moving into her current role as the Resource and Curriculum Coordinator.  She is a parishioner at Christ the King and is happy to be part of the Christ the King School community.

Rosalyn Nicpon

Work Experience
Mrs. Nicpon has dedicated her life to serving children and families, and to empower youth of all ages to be the best they can be. Born and raised in Chicago, she worked with youth and families as a therapist and coordinator of youth outreach services and developed programs for high school students to empower them to achieve their best. After moving to Atlanta, she has served on the Board of Community Connections foster care agency, served on leadership in her children’s schools, chaired the International Families Committee, served as a Committee Chair and Assistant Cubmaster of her son’s Cub Scout Pack, and is a Level I and II trained catechist for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. She also served as the first social worker at Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School. She and her husband Carl have two sons and also have their golden doodle Lily.

Work Experience
For 15 years, Mrs. Smith has worked with children and families in both medical and mental health settings. She started her career in social work as a hospice social worker providing support for patients and grieving families.  Following her experience at hospice, Mrs. Smith worked as a child and adolescent counselor in community mental health.  Additional work experience has included working as the leukemia/lymphoma social worker at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston for 5 years.  Upon her return to the United States after living abroad in London, England for 3 years, Mrs. Smith provided grief counseling in a private practice setting. As a Christ the King parent, Mrs. Smith says that she feels honored and thankful to be on campus serving middle school students and families. ​
